Default Directx 9 and XP
Is anyone here running the DX9 beta on Windows XP? If so, has it made a difference? Did it make a difference in Gaming? Thanx

Haven't tried dx9 myself but a lot here have & a lot of them wished the didn't.

you need to have dx9 components to run dx9 to its fullest though it is supposed to make some nice improvements for most gfx cards

the thing is... its a beta... so I gonna wait till the full release

old cards like G-force 2 won't get anything from DX9, it's for the newest cards such as ATI 9700 or the new nvidia card.
