can anyone tell me how i can download more than 2 files at the same time in XP. ? If i try to download 3 or more files, it only starts 2 downloads and the 3 one first start if one of the first 2 has finished. I have a 512 DSL line, so this isnīt the problem. Thanks S. Andresen Denmark |

i think speedguide.net has stuff on registry settings for that, but i wouldnt mess with it if your not completely sure maybe someone else here could give better answer if not browse that site an ull find it there

you can use a download manager like GetRight, www.getright.com If you want to work with the IE downloader then do the follwoing things:
This is to increase the the number of max downloads to 10. 1. Start Registry Editor (Regedt32.exe). 2. Locate the following key in the registry: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings 3. On the Edit menu, click Add Value , and then add the following registry values: "MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server"=Dword:0000000a "MaxConnectionsPerServer"=Dword:0000000a 4. Quit Registry Editor. |
