Default Help Please! Floppy Drive Will Not Copy!

Oh f*ck.

I just stuck my really long essay on a floppy; it copied from one pc allright; and then I formatted the *******.

Now on my machine; it will not open the files; or copy from floppy.

Any means of getting this information of the floppy disk?

I really need this stuff; It is is due monday; and I had so much work on it...yes.. I know I do back up; just this was supposed to be a 1 minute file move...AHHHHHH!

Ooopsie! Never store ANYTHING on a floppy only! So it can't read any floppy or just this one? Have you tried another computer?

I tried using badcopy; and it didn't recover the whole thing...

Looks like you are in deep <brown stuff> mate. See if you can extract some of the text anyway. Better than redoing the whole thing.

Also, doing a reformat a few days before deadline. Not a good idea.
