I find also that after maybe 3 or 4 days I will get No Socket Errors. A reboot, and a reconnection to the Internet will fix this problem but I'm thinking there might be a program out there to alleviate this problem. I'm just wondering how some people have ridiculous uptimes and not run into this issue. |

i'm no expert, but i would look at 2 possibilities:
1) try turning off services that aren't needed 2) run a viruscan on your system a.s.a.p. (i experienced a general system slowdown, ran a scan and came up with 5 instances of the nimbda virus) 3) if nothing else works, i'd consider formatting and starting clean - there's nothing quite like an enima for your pc! |
