this is the first time i post something in this forum, may i know is there anyone of u can help me bout UNix. i need to know how to create database in unix. i just need some simple database and the coding if can as simple as possible coz i'm a newbie.....hope u guys can help me....!!!

![]() 1. Pick a database. For the sake of argument let's take mySQL. 2. Download and install mySQL for your Unix type. (http://www.mysql.com/) 3. Download phpMyadmin (http://phpmyadmin.sourceforge.net/) and install it. 4. Create and configure your databases as you wish. Maybe this isn't perfectly noob-friendly, but I managed to do it as a Linux noob. If you need help, just ask.
