thanks for your reply!
I put my CD in and I hear it start, but nothing else happens. I went to my computer, and I'm not even seeing an E or an F drive. |

OK. First thing is to go to computer management.
Start menu/admin tools/computer management. Fom there go down to storage/disk management. Look to the right. If your cd rom is there just assign it a drive letter. Right click on it. |

From becki74> They aren't there! Only C and D drives. ACK!
Have a look in the device manager. Right click my computer/properties/hardware/device manager. If your cd rom is there remove it & reboot. See what happens, it might pick it up. If it is not there go to the control panel/add hardware & see if that picks it up. This is a last resort> open the case & make sure the cd rom cable are plugged in tightly both ends. Someone else might have other ideas. |

I haven't downloaded this yet, but I wanted to show someone the error that I'm getting. I can't even find my E and F drives.
Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)
