Nice gonaads, but I also found one and its free. Its called Audio Converter! It can convert anything to anything. Its pretty good!

I advise anyone not to convert from one compressed format to another. It will only sound alot worse.

I used to use CDex, but i'm not sure if it's still under development nowadays.
Incredibly small footprint tho'.... If I could only remember where It was hosted... *goes to look* edit:- Found it!!! As far as know it's still free too. |

use soundforge or wave lab... they are proffessional sound editing tools... they can do more than what you want but they still convert from one format to another quickly n easily plus u can edit the sounds with effects and compressors and eq's
