installation problem

GTA III when I want to install it. It stops on 13% with this error:
cyclic redundancy check.
I burned the game with nero..it works! but missing the background i.e houses and infrastructure!
what is next?put it in the trash?

A CRC would mean corrupted data as in a bad burn of your copy, or a scratch/defect/smudge on the cd.

You could wipe down the surface with a lint free cloth and a mild water/detergent solution.

Or, you could invest in a disc doctor scratch remover (which rubs down a little of the protective coating to get rid of bad scratches).
