Could be so many things. Have you run a virus scan? Checked for background apps hogging up resources. You might also try running the system file checker. Start\run then type "sfc /scannow" with out the quotes and make sure you have a space between the sfc and the / You will also need your XP install disk in the CD drive. Hope this helps Good Luck
