If you are using the beta version of Windows Media Player 9 Seriers i think you have some problem like me. One of them when you want to play ((.asx)) files you get an error message, the solution for this problem is to change the extension to ((.asf)) and then play the file. It works fine 100% just try it and solve this problem. |

Hi Again
Another solution If your WMP9 does not play any file at all, the solution is to change the CD key of your Windows XP and it will work fine. |

MMF, welcome to XP-erience, there is no need to post the same thing in more than one thread, if you messed up and want somethign moved to another thread just ask a mod.
I deleted the other thread on this subject, that was in tips and tweaks.
