Default Office XP SP-2 installation problem

When I try to install SP-2 I get the following message and the installation stops.

Office XP Service Pack 2
The expected version of the product was not found on your system.

Anyone have any ideas?

radmon guesses:

You have (say) the Premium edition and the update was only for the standard edition

You have installed SP1 and the update was only for not patched versions.

You don't have SP1 and the update was only for installations where SP1 was already installed

Nevermind...didn't see where it said you have to install SP-1 first...I thought Service Packs ussually contained all previous service packs.
