Links Folder Under Favorites?

i keep deleting this folder and it KEEPS coming back. is there anyway to keep the links for PERMANTLY out of the favorites folder?

Right click on it\properties. Tick or untick ( can't remember which) hide.

Tick hidden. Say bye bye.
