Default XP SP1 and wireless network card...:(

I installed SP1 for XP on my laptop today that has a Orinoco WiFi 11 Mbit/s Silver card in it...and now the card will not connect to my Wireless Access Point....anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it?

According to the Driver File Details....it is using version 7.43.0.9 of wlluc48.sys

if you can get on line, go into device manager, and let windows search the web for the latest driver;

windows key +break>hardwre>device manager>double click this particular device, go to driver, go to update driver

kinda hard to get online since my wireless card will not initialize and therefore is not able to access my wireless access point which would then allow it to access the internet to get an updated driver

ya...that's what I was afraid of...if you can get to another box, try to go to the manufactureres website, and download the driver to floppy

well...I looked on their website and didnt see a place to download drivers at...but surely i am just overlooking it...i will keep on looking...surely there is an update for it somewhere....Just in case some of you resourceful type need the info on the card...
