How many do you want to change. I have a freeware program called 'convert' 173kb that does one at a time. Will convert either way. If you have a lot to do try doing a search. Free programs are available. (not sure about the tif files)

Use I_View32. You can open any type of picture file, then save as any other. It is the best image prog out there. And it is free.
Just search Google for I View.
