Are you talking about a dual-boot machine between XP and 98?

Sure. But if XP is already installed on the system you'll need a third party utility such as Partition Magic 7.0 to do what you want (or you can reformat and start from scratch).

The issue is that older OS's always need to be installed first, and DOS based OS's need to be installed ahead of NTFS based OS's. So if XP is already on C: you need a reformat or PM7 (which will allow you to circumvent the rule I mentioned).
