my windows 2003 small business server (SBS) suffered a major deletion due to an W32.Oror varient virus, because one of the computers that is connected through it through a network got a virus and had come to the point of formatting... anyways getting back on track... after searching through endless boxes i found the re-installation discs and wollah everything is back to normal (woohoo, bye bye virus, haha !)... but the thing is the re-installation installed itself into a directory called 'windows.0'... but the original 'windows' directory is still there... would i be able to delete it with no worries because no program is using it... and is it possible to change the 'windows.0' directory into 'windows' (its sort of a compulsive problem )... anywho, is it possible through changing registry and the boot.ini file and the such ???thanks in advance |
