When you install a linux distro, simply create a fat32 partition. It will be accessible from both OS without too much trouble.. ext3 are "like" ntfs.. they are protected filesystem, but with proper setting (i'm speaking about ntfs) it can be read & write from other system. |

There is exlporer2fs which [I think] can read ext2 and ext3 filesystems from Windows. never tried it though.

Yeah, Explore2fs will do the trick for ext2/ext3 partitions. It has a Windows Explorer like interface, so it's easy enough to set up and use as well.
