Default NotePad+ on XP?
i really love NotePad+, which i've been using on Win9x for years, and i wondered if it'll work on Windows XP. the original source code was lost, so the author hasn't produced any recent versions.

i read somewhere else that someone had to replace four files simultaneously on NT to install NotePad+; is this the same for XP? is that to do with the protected system files?

Thanks for all the replies, guys... Anyway, I got NotePad+ installed on XP; I had to almost simultaneously replace three copies of the original Notepad.

It doesn't look like anyone else cares, but NotePad+ works perfectly on XP.
