Default Disable CD spin-up when opening "my computer"?

Every time I open up explorer or my compter, my drives spin up and it takes a good 10-15 seconds for the program to finally open. Is there a way to disable the spin-up of the drives when opening up my computer/explorer? It's really getting annoying. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Well I guess everyone will be doing it now Empire...

Delete the Reg Keys under:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Remote
Computer\NameSpace

Then reboot. No delay whatsoever when I open up my computer now.
