Default Remote Desktop With Router Help

Hello guys & gals...

I am attempting to figure out how to allow remote desktop to work thru a linksys router (Model BEFSR41). I have tried assigning IPs to all my comps and then setting the dynamic routing. No luck. I turned off all filters and Wan Block request. No luck. I hit the Dang thing. No Luck.

Anyone know how i need to configure the Remote computer and the router to allow Remote desktop?

Thanks...

Forward/map port 3389 through the router to the internal computer running remote desktop
