Default Windows update file save
does ne1 know how to save da update files downloaded when u do a windows update?? cos im gonna loose my cable access soon n i dont wanna have 2 downloda all da files usin a 56k modem if i can save em now.

Ok, basically ... go to the Windows Update site.
You should see a link called Windows Update Catalog
I'm sure you'll be able to figure stuff out from there on ...

It allows you to store Windows Update files to any location you want on your hard disk, which was what you wanted.
