Mozilla FireFox Image Load Problem?

Why is it that now with FF 0.8 that when loading images it seems to lagg until the image is finished loading?

Any fix for this or something will be resolved in the next release?

Lagg in what way, the browser itself or the image?

Maybe clear your cache?

Are you using Smooth Scrolling? Then turn that off. I have the same problem, when an image tries to load which is either real big (in byte size) or is not present, then the scrolling goes very laggy. Turning the Smooth Scrolling off works for me.
