Exclamation Folder "Read-only" problem!!! Help me please!!!

Oh, no... I might need to use other browsers instead of IE...

My IE (internet explorer) doesn't save any temporary file and history anymore... It seems like that the folders are read-only and I every time I turn read-only off --- it just go back to read-only automatically...

I am using Windows XP Pro and IE6

Please help!!!

Two things to try:
1/ Repair IE. Do a search at microsoft for this - 'Q318378'. Sorry don't have the link.

2/ Start/Run/regsvr32 urlmon.dll (I think this does some sort of repair also.)
