Question Save a 4 GIG file to DvDR ??

I would like to know if there is a way to burn a large file to a dvdr with a cd-burner and if so what application should I look for and how good will the results be??

No, no possible way for an ordinary CD-RW to write to DVD-R type media. It doesnt understand the format and wont burn to it.

Yes that was what I thought also, I guess I need to pack it into chunks with winace and move it that way, thanks for response

Have you had a look at svcd or vcd? Might take a few disks though.
