I use outlook express for my home email client and I run a number of different indentities each with its own password. The problem starts when I exit from OE and DON'T select "Exit and log off identity". The result is that all my email from my current folder is deleted. If I move to another folder it is also deleted. If I do "Exit and Logoff identity" all is well. This happens with all identities and didn't start happening until I upgraded to XP. Any ideas? J |

Do you have McAfee Virus Scanner 5 installed on the machine? This was a problem noted on McAfee.com's website in which McAfee 5 would delete email from Outlook Express 6. If you do, upgrade to McAfee 6.
