I can't find an answer to this anywhere, kind of a last hope thing here. It doesn't matter what browswer I use, IE6 or Netscape 6.2, whenever I try to d/l a program, it will hang at 21% and never go any farther. It doesn't matter how many times I try to restart it, it just won't finish. It doesn't matter the server I d/l from, it does it to every file.

I am on a cable internet connection shared with 2 computers through a switch. The other computer has no problem d/l so it must be a setting somewhere or something is wrong with IE. Everything else works fine, I don't get randomly d/c, I can surf just fine, play games etc, just not d/l.

Any help is much appreciated

Have you tried a download manager? I found that to work when a download would not cooperate.
