how to do a REPAIR
i know i reboot w/ the XP cd in; however, after i hit R i end up getting to the C:\windows prompt and i don't know what to do from there. .. . . thanks. . . . |

Going the cd route just follow through like a regular installation... somewhere along the line it gives the option for a repair installation. I gave you another repair installation method in the other thread you started. I'll lock this one up and just put a redirect here (one post per issue please):
