Default shortcuts in open, save as, browse, etc box?

alright, the title didn't make much sense so i'm gonna explain a bit...you know when you try to open something? like say you go to start, and then run...well, on the left of the open box you'll see icons to ur desktop, my documents, my network, etc...my question is, how can you add to that? or perhaps modify one of the links? it would be greatly helpful to many people i would imagine...thanks for looking : )
