Default Upgraded from WinMe, but......

Hello, I upgraded my mom's pc from WinMe to XP, but when I try to shut down I get the message "It is now safe to shut-down". She needs to shut down manully. She did not have this problem with WinMe. Any patches for this problem?

Thanks

That's an ACPI function. You can try flashing the bios to it's newest revision - be sure to read the revision notes to see if it's covered in there. The problem is that this is something that's picked up and enabled during installation... you may need to do a clean installation (after the bios flash) to get XP to pick up on it correctly.
