This is such an easy tip. Antivirus programs and firewalls are all very important but NEVER have anything on your computer that is important and not backed up. It is just common sense. I, personally, could reformat at any time because I keep my important stuff backed up and/or written down (mail settings, etc). |

We have customers that have all thelatest AV suites , but never update the sig files
And then they wonder why they get virus' Hahahahhaa |

However there are also disk imaging programs like disk image (although I dont use it so I dont know much about it) which you can have your system up and running again in 20 minutes or so. I only backup important stuff (that is different for everyone) like certain programs and drivers and settings. |
