Default Anti virus

Just read the front page news about asking if anti viruses work blah blah blah?

This is such an easy tip. Antivirus programs and firewalls are all very important but NEVER have anything on your computer that is important and not backed up. It is just common sense.

I, personally, could reformat at any time because I keep my important stuff backed up and/or written down (mail settings, etc).

Well, and tell me how much time you are spending to back up everything, and how much time will you spend to instal back up?

Backing up takes no time at all. In the slowest way possible I can get windows xp up and running with everything I need in 2 hours.

However there are also disk imaging programs like disk image (although I dont use it so I dont know much about it) which you can have your system up and running again in 20 minutes or so.

I only backup important stuff (that is different for everyone) like certain programs and drivers and settings.
