Default network and internet connection?

i have one computer connected to internet, dsl connection. i also have second computer which i want to connect to internet. i want to be able to use internet independently on each computer, for ex i dont have to turn on one so that there would be internet connection on other one. which would be better for this?
hub or router?

router is the only option for you from what you are saying, the router will connect directly to the modem and then to the two comps individually. the router keeps your connection alive.

i've checked for some routers online and i found this one

http://www.linksys.com/products/prod...prid=20&grid=5 i looked at some sites and it's price is $90 US. will this work fine?

that is the exact router i am running, and have had no problems with it whatsoever. i can personally recommend it, very easy to setup and nice and easy to use.
