Smile XP Network Connections question
I am just wondering how to change a setting in XP. When you go to Network Connections, I see my broadband connection. When I double click Local Area Network, an adapter status window pops up with info about the connection (Status, Duration, Speed, etc.) Where it says Activity, it shows the current packets that were sent and received. I want to know how to change this to Bytes instead of Packets so I can see how many bytes were transferred and sent from this PC. I know it is possible because I have seen computers with Win XP have Bytes instead of Packets. How can I change this?

That is dependent on drivers i believe. Some drivers report to the extensible performance counters in bytes, bits, packets, etc. It all depends on how the coutner is programmed into the driver. I don't believe there is any way to change it.
