Run "cmd" and type systeminfo.exe at the cmd prompt.

Systeminfo works, but I prefer SiSoft Sandra for the most complete system information possible. Check it out at sisoft.com

There was a download whcih made sure it didn't close by itself !!------------------ I tried it again, but first you have to type 'cmd' in the run-application and then you type systeminfo in the cmdwindow !
