Sorry it took a long time to reply,I have only just received e-mail that you had replied to my original question,I know it sounds dumb,but how do you merge docs?

You could select and copy the contents of one doc and paste them at the end of another to make one looong doc

I remember seeing something on the screen savers about merging documents but unfortunately I do not know how they did it. I asked Clippy how to merge documents and this is what he said.
Insert another Word document into an open document Click where you want to insert the second document. On the Insert menu, click File. In the File name box, enter the name of the file you want to insert. Notes To insert only part of a file, click Range, and then type a bookmark name in the Range box. If you want to organize and maintain several related documents in one document, create a master document. Clippy is cool, but I think he's banging my wife. He plays dumb when I ask him if he's banging my wife. |
