Password protect on network

How do i make someone on my network type in a password to acces my computer since i dont want evreyone looking at what i have only my friends???

You just have to set the security permissions for anything you have shared

Say you had a directory of pictures you want to share only to certain people.

Just right click on it and set the permissions to only allow their names etc..
