Default can't move folder, permissions needed

Hey all

I am trying to move/rename/delete a folder with contents but I can't do nothing with it.

Tried changing permissions on it, to no avail.

What else can I do?

Thanks,

Heeter

Did you try taking ownership of the folder?

If the folder isn't inheriting permissions it won't cre what permissions you set on the parent folder.

What OS you running?

Folder is sitting on a network drive.

The workstation OS is Vista. The FileServer is Win2003.

I remote desktop the server and tried from there as well, with no success.

How do I take ownership of folder?

Hi Tweakfiend, that helped. On a network folder too.

Thanks,

Heeter
