Default is there an open source point of sale for windows?
hi

man pos programs are dear aren't they, 1000 bucks.

does anyone know of an open source pos?...I have been using the google and the only open source I am finding are for linux

Note this one is intended for bars/food/hotel type businesses. There seem to be a lot more and other pay programs that are only a few hundred.

man I googled that and all that came up were free systems that wanted you to use their credit card agencies

thanks for the link

I think I found something better though, a company that is giving me all the hardware with quick books pos for the same price I would pay for the hardware

still I am going to download this program and see if it's got what we need for our business
