Ok hard to explain but i will try my best.
I have 2 connections active mostly. My VPN connection and my hardwired connection Both have dns and the ip's and all the jazz. I find my internet will randomly stall some times and when i disable the vpn it works. I DO NOT get internet through vpn. just network and ability to rdp to machines. it is NOT used for internet. does anyone know how to tell windows to only use certain mac's or certain connections for internet? |

Can't you set it as a static connection? That way you can assign the ip

Right now thats how its assigned. but windows goes stupid.
I have tried both to do static and dynamic. both have the same effect. this didn't happen in XP or vista. tho in windows 7 it seems to confuse the 2. |
