For some reasons received Windows 7 Home Premium full version yesterday rather than after 22/10.
After loading 64 bit on dual boot with XP noticed 2 problems not seen in RC1. Kaspersky security 2009 does not work ( update to 2010 resolved this) and problems with loading very recent HP scanner. All Live Mail contacts / messages imported safely from RC1. Otherwise ok so far. |

hp said that they won't have any updated drivers or software till after it comes out. I have the same issue with my hp all in one printer ...
It is also just like xp and vista were; some of the software has to be modified for it to work properly. The good thing is that you don't have to use compatible mode with as may things. They still have some work to do though .. I am starting to have mixed opinions about this OS as for how it will do. I still think people are going to be hard pressed to get rid of XP. Eventually, they will be forced to though ... |

I've been running Windows 7 for a few months now, mostly in Virtual Machine environments for the beta. When Windows 7 was made available on MSNDAA I jumped on it and installed that, it uses less resources when running within a VM and is much more stable, which really surprised me.
