Default Domain name is setup, now what??

Hi friends... ok well I registered my domain name www.draftdesign.ca
Now, I got DSL and dynamic IP from my ISP.. I already read some faq's like http://oasisoflove.dyns.cx:2004/dynamic-ip.html

Now what I want to do is hook-up a second network card and plug it on my router or just setup another PC to host the website, have it set to a static IP and give the company that registered my domain my static address.. Is this possible?!?
I want to avoid going through a 3rd party like http://www.dyns.cx. as I will not have my domain name...
Can some give me some tips?? thx

Cool Re: Domain name is setup, now what??

If you ISP ip is dynamic, you're stuck with that. www.no-ip.comsupports dynamic ip domains. It's not free, but I think it's theway togo. Just make sure your ISP will allow this. A separate NICisn't necessary and I don't think it will improve security either.

Check with your ISP, many do not allow website hosting

One I used in the past for shared hosting was http://www.wwm.net I never had any problems there. Good prices and support.
