Default PHP and Mysql

hi !

I want to open a server with my pc...
what software do i need to enable there php and mysql databases?

(1) Asus P4S800D, Pentium 4 2.8 HT, 1 GB DDR 400 Ram, ATI Radeon 9700 PRO , XP Home SP2 incuding all updates, ADSL 2000/200
(2) LG Laptop, F1 Pro Express Dual.

If you want ease of use and dont know anything about servers and stuff, then use Xitami. Its all ready done for php, so theres no need to configure it like you do with Apache.

PHPDev4 is similar to that. Really easy to setup, and includes PHP4.06 / Apache1.3.20 / ActivePerl5.6 / MySQL3.23.

Doesn't Apache automatically have PHP with mod_php as well? I may be wrong, was a while ago.

Nope, you need to download it as a seperate component.
