I found it interesting that more people did not list their email program.

Two reasons I feel this way:
1. Email is the program you probably use more then any other you have on your PC (unless you only use web mail).
2. How many of you could live without it like the original poster asked?

Good point, but I didn't list Outlook because I access my e-mail mostly from my phone - Windows Mobile baby

Once I gave the question more thought I had to add Outlook. It's a way of life.

It's tough to limit it in my case. I use so many programs.

I can't believe more people aren't listing web browsers or mail clients (unless they use a web browser to get their mail).

I listed Firefox as number 1, cause I use it as a browser (millions of places I go), use it as a RSS reader, mail checker, weather checker and more....

its like my all in one program.
