9) Antivirus software: Norton Antivirus 2002 (maybe corporate ed)
10) Utilities suite: Norton Systemworks 2002

12) Web Design: ConTEXT (for the basics)
13) P2P File Sharing: IRC for the good stuff

Note: I highly recommend Trillian and Irfanview. Both are free, fast, and relatively small in file size.
