Yet more IE problems...

Just wondering what causes the status bar in my IE to disappear all the time when I open new windows.

Stuff like that keeps happening. Last time, it was the text size that kept changing to big.

I tried setting the page right, then closing IE. Next time I start it it's fine; I open up new pages and it's fine; then I open up another one and no status bar.

Know any fix ?
(I know Mozilla is better and all that, and I actually use it along with IE. But let's say changing browsers is not an option.)

I think I posted this awhile ago.
1)Right Click My Computer and click Explore
2) Click View and select Status Bar
3) Click Tools and click Folder Options
4) Click View and then click Apply to All folders
5) Click Apply OK OK

That works for IE as well ?
I use it from time to time when Windows Explorer decides it's better for me to view all my files as thumbnails or something. But I never suspected that would affect IE as well.
