Can anyone tell me how to configure yahoo messenger and NIS so i can send and receive files. And how to go about it, not just the settings.?

Are you using a router? If so, it might not be NIS' fault.

An antiirus or firewall program could also block the file transfers.

Check the settings on your antivirus and firewall (make sure the built in windows one is not turned on unless you want it on).

If you don't have an antivirus and want to transfer files get one!

AVG has a good freeware antivirus.
