Yahoo Messenger 5.5.0.1237

Ever since the last 2 updates my Yahoo Messenger freezes up. Sometimes when I'm sent a message other times just for the hell of it. Anyone else xperiencing this problem? Any solutions? I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times but to no avail

I blocked the Yahoo Updater on NIS. heh. I am running 5.5.1232 and have not had any problems. However, your version is newer, so maybe. *shrug*

I'll try and upgrade and let you know.

i downloaded the latest version of yahoo messenger and had no problems yet except for one: when i right click on someones name and then left click on to view their profile i get a message that says "this file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. create an association in the folders opotions control panel." i dunno.
