Xplorer Problem

Hi Guys
Without installing anything new or changing current settings. I have the following problem. An extensive amount of 'My favourite' URL's when I click on to open take forever to load and then I receive the messgage that the site is found and waiting for reply! after a considerable time of say 10 mins, the page then opens blank showing done in the left corner but then after another frustrating wait, the server cannot be found message appears as the main page!!
I have checked the status of my server and all appears to be running OK! My modem is a 56K and that is functioning without problems!

I know you said the ISP seems OK but it might help if you could try another one. Ask a friend if you could 'borrow' his for a few minutes to see if the problem persists. I've had this problem with crappy ISP's.

Hipster Doofus - Thankyou for your time and answer to my request! I have asked a friend to test the same ISP that we both use and he too is experiencing problems with the same! I guess that it is the ISP at fault and not the PC?
I shall try again later to test the system out and let you know if I am still experiencing problems!
