XP Missing Files

I got another Problem...

Just did RUN > CMD and then tryed the ping command and it told me it didnt find it, i think i messed up on the registry about the ping and other dos files, any1?

this is the message i got

'ping' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or bath file.

Anyone ?

Is it located in C:\WINDOWS\system32\ping.exe? If it is there, make sure you have %systemroot%\system32 in your path environment variables. Right click My Computer, System Properties, Advanced tab, Environment Variable button
