hello
We just got an XP pro which is joining an NT4 domain with win9x clients. One of the win95 PC's acts as an image server.
We installed the program that searches the image DB and find that we are unable to open the db files on the win95 pc unless we manually log into the shared folder on that PC every time we login and use the search program.
if we don't manually login to the shared folder we get "file not found \\path to db file\db file the specified network password is not correct"
What we use is Winbatch ( a scripting language) to create the mapping to that shared folder (and provide the password).
This all works just fine with win9x machines.
any ideas?
