XFree86 4.4.0 released

XFree86 4.4 was released on Feb 29th.

And yes, I know about the GPL issues, but has anyone here got around to installing it? I've heard the fonts, for one, have been considerably improved. Just wanted to know what people here think.

I think I'm going to give it a spin when I get around to re-installing Slack.

I've been using it for a few days now. I don't see any noticeable improvements. Yes the fonts do look a bit nicer and more readable.
